Building Community
I asked my students this morning in our morning message what inspires or excites them about Providence Day and I loved their responses! Second graders always have something profound to say. Two students wrote the PDS community as their answers. I loved that because one thing that inspires me daily is that at PDS we value building community. We put time and effort into creating safe spaces to learn, grow, take risks, and share. Every day you find intentional community building time in morning meetings, class meetings, advisee groups, and assemblies. Taking time to build community is one thing that makes our school connected and a great place to be!
