Some days in our classroom are started with a morning yoga video to prepare our minds and bodies for the day. Personally yoga has been beneficial and to watch first graders embrace this practice is inspiring. It is inspiring to see that they understand the importance of taking a few minutes to just breathe, be still, and relax. The calmness in the room is comforting and the mood is happy.
