Briefing Document
Mission
To seek out, document, and share a genuine moment of inspiration as it occurs in the Providence Day School community each day.
Personnel
38 highly-trained, skilled Agents in Charge who have recruited a variety of equally-valuable Secret Agents to the cause. An additional 10 elite team members (‘fixers’) are standing by to assist in unforeseeable situations. A highly classified, Top Secret agent may also be activated.
Operations
This mission has not been widely communicated to the Providence Day community in advance. A three-week ‘guerrilla marketing campaign’ is scheduled for roll-out on campus at launch on the first day of school. Agents in Charge and Secret Agents should not compromise the mission by sharing intelligence during this time. Coded email messages will be sent throughout the campaign with updates and initiatives.
Logistics
The moment of inspiration should be submitted no later than 4pm each day. Strategic Marketing & Communications staff will briefly review – but not alter – the submissions, and then publish for distribution. Agents may submit earlier in the day but they may not submit on a previous day for their selected day. See below for specific instructions.
Submitting Inspiration
You can submit text (quotes or long story content), photos, video, or audio as a way to document the moment of inspiration. To submit, simply visit http://www.pdinspires.com/submit and choose the type of content you would like to contribute. Fill out the online form and submit. Upon submission, your post will be reviewed by HQSM&C and published to the site!

e-newsletter: Daily Dose of Inspiration
Anyone can subscribe to receive their “daily dose of inspiration from Providence Day.” Agents in Charge have automatically been subscribed to receive the newsletter. The e-newsletter will be distributed each day, as the moment of inspiration has been posted.
Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Email
Each moment of inspiration can be shared via various social media outlets. Agents in Charge and Secret Agents are encouraged to share moments that personally resonate with them using the hashtag #PDinspires
The Marketing & Communications team includes:
- HQ6001 (Karen Brand)
- HQ7515 (Kevin Murray)
- HQ6077 (Jen Duvall)
We are all on the inside and available to assist.
Possible Constraints
Q. What happens if someone is compromised and unable to complete their assignment on a particular day?
A. If an agent is out sick on the day they are scheduled to submit a moment of inspiration, please notify HQ6001 (Karen Brand) immediately. An elite team of “fixers” are on stand-by ready to assist at a moment’s notice. The schedule will continue as planned with the next day’s agent. What happens if school is closed due to severe weather, power outage, or another unforeseen incident and the moment of inspiration cannot be submitted by the deadline? We have a contingency plan in place for those days. The Agent in Charge for that week or HQ6001 (Karen Brand) will communicate with the Secret Agent(s) affected. The schedule will continue as planned with the next day’s agent.

Briefing Tips
Look for inspiration anywhere and everywhere. Remember, these do not have to be big, spectacular moments. They just need to be authentic. The moment of inspiration can be something you experience, something you witness between others, or simply something you feel on campus or while off campus with a group of students, parents, or others connected to the school. There is no perfect example; in fact, the hope is that this campaign might uncover some ‘imperfect’ moments that are also inspirational. Don’t over-think this. Have fun.
